Summary: The Onkyo DV-BD507 stock is a position as uncomfortable with the Harman Kardon BDP-1: The suggested retail price of $ 449 or $ 499 for this player is fun in this market. This player is useful to make $ 250 and struggles of a Propositon value for much more. At current prices the way it would be $ 399 (8 / 20), I encourage you to send that player übergeben.Ich from a wide range of BD and SD DVD material. BD performance is very good and exceptionally identical to most other players for 1080p applications 24fps.DVD is compotent, but not. I mean it has improved in some respects, for the 606, which causes a ruddy faces pressure to flush one or more tanned after enlightenment. Colors are generally accurate, and I think in real-world content that holds shadow detail and avoid crushing schwarz. In terms of moiré and aliasing, the performance is good. I saw Rome, Season 2 with a set of pans that provide ample material for criticism Moire.Mein biggest is the lack of detail rendering. There is the noise that blurs the images. Text shows aliasing and sharpness is lacking, most of the images are soft at the end of the day. I played with the three NR settings and could notquite a happy balance. With the highest setting, NO (3) do not appear on slicks as actors face bright solid colors. I have some A / Bing with the Oppo, Denon 2010, Pioneer 320 and Onkyo 507 ABT chip in the Denon and Oppo, and cleaned up the image to provide further details, the greater distinction between the images and information base, providing a greater depth to the image. The Onkyo suffered in this way. The Pioneer came among operators beiden.Dieser will probably use the same chip as the Panasonic and Denon has the same menus and graphical interfaces. Unfortunately not, it's the same quality construction and finishing. The power cord, remote control, and similar areas are not as impressive as the Denon. The player offers not only the coaxial digital output and two analog channels. The audio quality of the two analog output channels is good, but obviously do not offer in the area of Burr Brown. This is most evident in hören.Remote music is cheap and easy - it is absolutely identical to 606 and those specified in the $ 100 Magnavox players that you see at Wal-Mart. It is not backlit or glowing. It lacks a zoom function. Menu GUI / are almost identical to the Onkyo 606: blue background with the Quick Setup menu option and adjust the settings in more detail. The tree base / branch configuration is identical to the current one also Denon. There is an option to upgrade the firmware via CD or the Internet. The current firmware version appears as 1 0 and not more recent versions of Internet through Operation Verfügung.Die is very similar to the 606 in terms of speed. Are disabled in the right to eject the time 13 seconds. Toggle through the menus is fast and reagieren.Ladezeiten gradual improvement from the 606, but is still disappointing compared to one of the fastest players on the market: Casino Royale Sony Screen: JVC: 18 seocndsPioneer 320: 36 SekundenOnkyo 606: 45 SekundenOnkyo 507: 37 SekundenDark Knight piracy for: JVC: 17 seocndsPioneer 320: 42 SekundenOnkyo 606: 43 SekundenOnkyo 507: 38 seconds The Black Pearl Pirates: Artistic / DisneyJVC: Medallion 16 seconds, 27 seconds DisneyPio 320: Medallion 44 seconds, 1 min 13 SekundenOnkyo Medallion 606: Medallion 42; Disney 1 min 2 SekundenOnkyo 507: Medallion 42; Disney 57 SekundenDeinterlacing performance with S & M Synthetic test disc DeinterlacingCadence Source Adaptive Testing: Test vehicle for Moire and lock-in * Indicates Satz.Test second: JVC / Onkyo 606 / Onkyo 5072:2 Pass / Fail Pass / 2:2:2:4 pass / fail fail / 2:3:2:3 (PF-T) pass / pass pass / 2:3:2:3 pass / pass pass / 2:3:3:2 pass / fail fail / 3:2:3:2:2 pass / fail fail / 5:5 pass / fail / Rn6: 4 Pass / Fail Fail / 8: 7:8:7 pass / fail Rn / 24p - pass / pass pass / Time-adjusted no / not marginal / Edge Adaptive Test PatternsJaggie Test - JVCGeschwindigkeitsmesser: It passed 45-5.
I hooked it up to my Onkyo TX-NR906 receiver and Sharp LC-46D-64U, it was a continuous connection with the exception of some changes of approach. . The Onkyo DV-BD507 is set up so easy. . I'm not a tech geek, but I have two great Blu-ray player Sony BDP-S1 and Sharp HP20U Blu-Ray both have the pretty pictures and large scale up to 1080p. . But this new Onkyo BD507 for me is excellent for movies on Blu-Ray and scaling up to 1080p on standard DVD. . Thanks again Amazon!Rating: 5 / 5
